QCG Application Monitoring (QCG-AppMon) service was created to graphically presents current state of long lasting computations. It uses monitoring scripts, which started with the application, tracks output or temporal files and sends notifications with current computation state. These notifications, delivered by the QCG Notification Broker service, after transformations are presented to the user in the form of text, graphs and tables.

QCG-AppMon service has two network interfaces. The first one is used for receiving notifications from QCG Notification Broker. The second one acts as a HTTP server and returns rendered pages with current state of the computation tasks. Both of these interfaces can also use SSL protocol.

IMPORTANT: In SSL mode, QCG-AppMon service currently does not validates user's credentials.
